​Troy Lee Designs didn't become the huge company that it is now over night. In the beginning, Troy Lee was just a helmet painter. He'd paint helmets for Motocross riders, NASCAR drivers, and everyone in-between. Eventually, he expanded the company into manufacturing Motocross and Mountain Bike gear. Today, Troy Lee Designs offers casual wear, Mountain Bike gear/helmets, Motocross gear/helmets, and several paint services. The company's most recent venture is owning a Motocross/Supercross team, which is now the Factory KTM 250 team in the United States.

Vital MX - KTM just gave us a sneak peek of their newest Factory Edition motocross bikes. for 2016, KTM has given the 250 SX-F version a new look based on their new Factory Troy Lee Designs team. Using their graphics scheme, along with an FMF titanium slip-on exhaust system. Other changes for the 2016 Factory Edition include orange billet triple clamps and frame, along with a brake disc guard and a TLD team seat cover. Weight and comfort is an issue, as is the ability to keep cool... or maybe look cool. Personally, I've been all over the map when it comes to chest protection.
