2018 KTM 350 SX-F
Overall Review
To some, the KTM 350 SX-F may seem like the machine of a cult following...but in truth, it's KTM's highest selling motocross model in the US as of late. Heck, they move more of these bikes than any single Japanese manufacturer sells 450 moto-models here, that's a decent chunk! Still people question the bikes existence and question what they're like to ride. So as we do year-after-year, we're hear to tell you about the latest model and mostly explain what advantages the bike actually offers.
2018 KTM 450 SX-F
Overall Review
For 2018, the list of changes to the KTM 450 SX-F is short and sweet. Compared to the '17 model we have new suspension settings front and rear, new fork seals, a new fork damping piston, an orange frame as standard, a new welding process for the frame itself, and some changed plastic colors. This may not be a ground-breaking list but considering how well received this bike was last year, it's hard to expect more from a manufacturer that's in its third year (sixth if you count the FE models) with
2018 Honda CRF250R
Overall Review
Vital MX - With Honda releasing an all-new CRF450R in 2017, we all knew that meant they would follow it up in '18 with some sort of revision to the CRF250R. And due to the spy pics from Japan this year, we also knew that it would be even more "new" than the new 450 from last year. While we expected it to get the new chassis, bodywork, suspension and down-draft intake layout of the 450...what was unexpected was the change from the Unicam engine design, which the CRF250R has used since its debut
2018 Kawasaki KX250F
Overall Review
When a manufacturer drops a all-new or heavily updated model, it's rare to see a large list of upgrades the following year. However, Kawasaki has broken this cycle a bit by dropping another round of updates for 2018 after a big overhaul in 2017. Up on deck are changes to the parts we saw new last year, such as the top-end of the engine. The 2018 model has a revised cylinder head intake port, mostly focused on the bridge area between the ports, along with an update to the angle of the injector in
2018 Honda CRF450R
Overall Review
After possibly the biggest year for the CRF450R in 2017, next to the first model in 2002, what is Honda going to do to up it? Honestly, it's a bit tough, although it didn't win our '17 Shootout...it did come very, very close. Along with being near the top in basically every media outlets comparison. As with any all-new model, the second year doesn't usually boast very many changes but those changes are very key. For 2018, Honda went after the main complaints, the forks, and tweaked on the
2018 Suzuki RM-Z450
Overall Review
Vital MX: This is a big year for Suzuki, after a solid ten years we finally have a new RM-Z450 to drool over. Earlier this month we actually visited Suzuki's R&D center in Japan to learn more about the new machine and chat with some of the crew involved with developing the bike. During this time, we actually found out how many parts on the works bike we rode the day before were production, with the biggest one being the whole chassis. If you want to read our thoughts on that bike to get some

Tested: MXGP 3 - The Video Game
Overall Review
Hey! A new motocross video game is out! They don't come around all that often, so we tend to get pretty excited when one gets released. This time, it's MXGP 3 from Milestone. As you might have guessed, the "3" means that this is the third entry in the MXGP series. The two that came before this one were good indicators that Milestone has the potential to make a great motocross game, but they were not the best. So, is the third one the chosen one? Is it the ultimate motocross video game

Rocket Exhaust 2017 CRF450R Stainless/Aluminum System
Overall Review
No matter how you swing it, every time Honda drops a new bike it's a big deal. And in the case of their latest 450, it's one sought after machine. Now the downside, as with any all new model bike, is the lack of aftermarket parts available at launch...but now that the latest CRF has been around for a bit, we have some new toys to play with. We caught up with Rocket Exhaust's Don Leib recently at Cahuilla Creek and had the chance to test out his final production pipe for the new bike. While not a
2017 Honda CRF250L Standard and Rally
Overall Review
Yes, as a core motocross rider, I've done some laughing at small-bore Dual Sport bikes...and after spending some time with the Honda crew aboard their new 2017 CRF250L and Rally models, I'm slightly regretting my previous laughter. Now I've enjoyed some bigger Dual Sport bikes and some of the latest Adventure models, but small Dual Sports haven't quite pegged my interest in the past. Probably because I struggle to keep myself relaxed on a trail, as my ADHD kicks in when I see a roller that can
