Rtech KTM Two-Stroke Plastic Kit
Vital Review
Rtech KTM 7-Pc Plastics Kit
The Good
Tons of color combos to choose from, fitment is the same as OEM plastics
The Bad
Not really anything... eventually you'll scratch them up?
Overall Review
Like all dirt bike guys, I always enjoy getting new plastics and graphics on a bike. Lately, I’ve been seeing a ton of the KTMs with the baby blue plastics and the bright orange front-ends and figured I’d like to try something similar but change it up a bit from the norm. I ended up finding Rtech who provides the kit and was able to get me situated with the light blue KTM plastics for the shrouds, side panels and rear fender while having the front fender, number plate and fork guards in white

2019 Kawasaki KX250
Overall Review
So what's new for the 2019 KX250? Well, not much but the F is no more! Kawasaki chose to drop the F moniker from their four-stroke motocross bikes this year. So don't be confused, this isn't a new two-stroke. But as we mentioned, there's not much new as Kawasaki's focus was on the all-new KX450 this year, meaning their 250 is taking a bye year but carries over a bunch of updates from 2018. If you want to know more about those changes, check out our 2018 First Impressions for this bike and for
Spy Foundation+ Goggle
Vital Review
Tested: Spy Foundation Goggle
The Good
Field of view is one of the biggest - Even though they are large, they’ve fit every helmet we’ve tried - Foam is comfortable, forms great seal, and is a sweat sponge
The Bad
Price, for not having rigid lens - Flexible frame might give you pressure point on nose
Overall Review
When it comes to modern motocross goggles, bigger is better… To a point. Obviously the bigger the goggle, the wider the field of vision, but they also have to fit in your helmet, so moto goggles do have size limitations. Yet, filling up all the space in a helmet’s goggle port without any room for air flow can also be a problem when it comes to ventilation. Spy claims to have fixed this conundrum with the new Foundation Goggle, which, according to Spy, has the most peripheral vision of goggles on

ProTaper Clamp-On Pillow Top Grip
The Good
Couldn't be simpler, super comfort from the pattern, and throttle cams match nearly all bikes.
The Bad
Limited pattern options, you might be out of luck if you are a die hard full waffle guy/gal.
Overall Review
There’s only a few points of contact between the rider and the bike and they make a big difference in how the bike feels. The grips are one of the most important contact points for me. When the grips are too harsh, I feel like I am holding directly onto the metal bars and my hands will hurt for a day or so after. But if the grips are not designed with enough durability then you’ll find yourself having to buy new grips every other ride. ProTaper has not only adopted this concept from mountain

Pod K8 Knee Brace
Overall Review
A vast majority of professional moto and off-road racers wear knee braces. They are on a whole different level when it comes to soft tissue protection compared to just knee pads. But there are some drawbacks to riding with knee braces, typically weight, bulk, and comfort. POD (Performance On Demand) has redone their top level brace, the K8, to address all of these areas while also being medically certified. POD and CTI are the only two knee braces on the market that a doctor can write a
Maxxis Maxxcross MX-ST Rear Tire
Overall Review
You have to capitalize on your assets. It’s just good business. And that is just what Maxxis has done by using long time Maxxis sponsored athlete Jeremy McGrath to help develop and test their latest full-on motocross tire, the Maxxcross MX ST. The Maxxcross MX ST is an intermediate/soft soil motocross tire with a tread pattern never used by Maxxis before. The compound, carcass, and construction methods are also all new with the primary focus being on track performance above all other features
Alpinestars Tech 7 Boots
The Good
Great balance of flexibility and protection | Burly, easy to use buckle | Excellent durability
The Bad
Looser fit than booty boot | Not a super tacky sole
Overall Review
These boots have been around a while, so don’t freak out and think that these are some new version. That will be the Tech 10 very soon, but here I’m talking about the Tech 7 MX Boot. Since their introduction, the Tech 7s have had a redesign in 2014 making the boot lighter and slimmer than the previous version. I’ve had this set of boots for about a year and, while I haven’t ridden in them exclusively, I’ve put a ton of time on them. Alpinestars Tech 7 Features: Advanced lateral hinge Dual

2019 Honda CRF450R
Overall Review
Honda has hit the third-year mark on the fifth generation CRF450R, meaning it was time for a mid-gen update. In this case, Honda has attempted to complete the overall handling characteristics of the CRF450R by making a host of frame changes towards the rear of the bike, along with a new swingarm. It also features updated electronics, including a separate ECU map for each gear, along with a launch control. 2019 KTM 450 SX-F
Overall Review
KTM's 2019 450 SX-F is could be described as a full-production run from their 2018 Factory Edition as the only notable changes were to the shock setting and ECU settings, along with a more standard "look". Of course, the FE we're speaking of had a host of changes, pertaining mostly to the top-end of the engine, a new chassis, new exhaust system, and all-new body work...along with a few other goodies. Below, we'll focus on commenting of how the bike works on track and if you want to hear more
