Red Bull hooked us up with a cool opportunity to visit with their athletes in an unusual location today, and we'll have more from that, soon. In the meantime, we know you want to see them, and here are a couple peeks at the Nike boots that San Manuel / Yamaha / JSE's James Stewart was wearing today.

The red/white/black pair looks sweet! Nike will get better with boots in time. Not a bad first pair of boots though!

What is so bad about Nike getting more directly involved in MX???

The red / white / black are reminiscent of the early Air Jordans.

Hope people support changes like this for the sport. Nike is a huge sponsor of everything big. Once you get Nike, then comes all the rest.(Adidas, Gatorade, Powerade, Underarmor, etc.) These are the kind of sponsors MX/SX Needs to grow. If we don't support them they will be gone. I've read more than one post about "i won't support anything mainstream." thats where the sport needs to go, if it don't the sport will die.

We'll see how long James and Dungey keep them before going back to the tried and tested boots.
More style and fit rather than protection from the looks of them (IMO)...

I'd probably pick a set of the Scott's up first before these. But then again each to there own. So when are the AIR JSE's going to be available?

The red/white/black set was definitely the more "finished" looking of the two. Not sure how far along these are in development. I'll try and find out more this weekend.
