The Pro Circuit Kawasaki KX250F Ignition Cover is the very same product used by the championship-winning Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki race team and is now available to the general public. Manufactured from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, the ignition cover is hard-anodized for corrosion protection and features a “race-ready” look. Pure and simple, it is built to withstand the most demanding conditions in motocross.

I installed this part and it knocked 4 seconds off my lap time! 1,000% worth the money! When I installed the skid plate it only knocked 1 second off.

Scratch or ding...? Are you serious?Maybe you get spare parts sent to you on a platter but our knee pads aren't that big. I make one comment, that's it one.... And look at you, doing research on stock cost. They do sell that thing called factory paint, it comes in a spray can, when it gets scrathched up, you sand it and re paint it. Don't be upset because you posted something that no one gives a s... About. That's why I don't post, guys like you that think they're gods gift because they contribute to a mx website.

Sound too me like you have been in the industry for a while but the difference is that it got to your head. I use bud in my lingo all the time whether your a square or factory rider.

I ve seen you at some of the nationals, feel free to holler at me at PALA. I ll be under the Gus for one last time. I'm always down for interesting conversation. Nothing personal, I've been in the industry for years, and the amount of money I've spent at pro circuit could easily put me in a AMG 55 and still get no love from them while putting together a fairly heavy funded support team along with helping struggling privateers. Bud? You must have me confused with an actual friend or acquaintance.

Just for giggles, I checked over at Motosport.com to see how much a stock one would cost, and it was $136.77. Depending on how/where you ride, and how often you ding one of those covers, it might be a better option than buying the same stock part over and over.

Personally, I probably wouldn't be in the market for one. But I do think it's cool that you *can* buy what they race with. If they didn't offer it to the public, people would probably bitch about that, too.

As far as getting cut off, I'd guess that you're using some kind of bracket in your posts, which the board is reading as code.

I get that you may not be the intended customer for this product. But I also re-read the press release, and failed to find the part where it said it'd make you faster. Anyone with a lick of common sense knows that it's a durability part, not a part that intended to add horsepower. I'm just trying to figure out why you felt the need to comment.

Once again, another over-priced product introduced to the public from pro circuit. Waste of money...? If you want to look cool in the novice class with an absolutely useless part be my guess. I'm sure any legit A class rider or privateer spending his own money will go to them for support in dire need or if they re happy with a 10% discount after dumping thousands through the company. I'm sure they ll tell you it benefits the bike and will even make you "faster"...
