Battlez FMX Collectible Card & Dice Game

Okay, we know that the word Collectible might be the most overused, “Doesn’t actually mean anything” phrase out there. That’s why we cast a somewhat suspicious eye on the Battlez FMX Card & Dice game when it showed up in our offices.

Battlez FMX Collectible Card and Dice Game

The game’s premise is like this…you can battle with another player, playing as your favorite freestyle rider. There are Battlez games featuring the Metal Mulisha’s Brian Deegan and Todd Potter (that’s the green one), or Deegan and Jeremy Lusk (in the orange package).

GuyB took a set of these home to play with his 12-year-old son, who normally has his hands wrapped around a PS3 controller. But surprisingly, he enjoyed playing the game. You score points by matching dice combinations to the cards in your hand, or you can even subtract points from your opponents score in a last-ditch effort to keep him from winning a battle. It takes a combination of skill, luck and strategy to win, and the games are fast-paced enough that you’ll play several rounds in an hour. Just for the fact that it was able to pry GuyB’s kid away from the TV and PS3 for a while, we’d have to give it a thumbs-up. Take that for a certificate of authenticity.

Battlez FMX edition are available at motorcycle dealers and specialty stores across the country, or you can check out www.BattlezFMX.com.
