Acerbis released the X-Seat during the fall of 2008 after months of testing by official Yamaha Monster Racing Team MX1 riders; David Phillippaerts and Joshua Coppins. More recently, after comparison to over 150 new products submitted to the Dealer Expo’s Kickstart competition, it was announced that the X-Seat is one of the top 10 products that the judges felt would have the biggest impact on the 2009 selling season.
