It may not have been spectacular, but Christian Craig got his first taste of the 450 class as a substitute for Josh Grant in Unadilla. With limited testing time, he and the team had trouble with suspension settings. Also, Christian ran afoul of an AMA rule before the start of the second moto. Rather than launch from the starting gate on his practice start, he rolled out in front of his gate and then took off, which is a no-no. He was forced to move from his spot on the inner half of the gate to the far outside.
