Pit Bits - Crawfordsville
After the interview with Ken Roczen's dad went a little nuts in the forum last week, Ricky Carmichael had little to say on the subject, except, "I don't want to comment on remarks made by someone outside of RCH with respect to Ken and his relationship with his father. Whatever happens between them is between them. I will not comment on speculation and rumors outside of this team."
"This is our third season as a race team. Carey and I, obviously he's here years before. I think we've got a great group of people. We've got some great support from Suzuki, and we work hard to give our riders one hundred percent. We do the best we can with the equipment we've got, and I believe we've got some good factory equipment."
"I do know that things can't always be perfect, although we want them to be. We're still going to try our hardest. I think everyone in this group should be walking tall. I think everyone has done a great job. I'm very proud of the guys behind the scenes."
Their team riders ended up in second (Roczen) and seventh (Tickle) in the final standings, and RC said, "I know this much. I want to win just as bad as the next guy, and we're going to give Ken and Broc one hundred ten percent, and do everything we can, as we always have, to fulfill those needs and to make them happy."
