The newly crowned three-time MX2 World Champion, Jeffrey Herlings, had a few additional things added to his bike this weekend. Such as the change in graphics...

...Plus, the additional bling on his Akrapovic exhaust, which is trophy room worthy!

Along a fresh clutch cover to cap things off. Beyond that, we noticed Jeffrey, like Antonio Cairoli, prefers the PowerParts frame covers over grip tape.

Interestingly, the MX2 KTM's use the carbon fiber engine mounts found on the US race team bikes, unlike the aluminum that now come stock and are on the Husqvarna GP bikes and KTM's MXGP bikes.

Another part that differs from any other KTM and Husqvarna teams are the radiators, labeled as H2O. These radiators seem to set at a different angle, have unique sized cores, and different tank sizes than what we've normally seen on any of KTM's race bikes.

Two additional shots of these radiators.

This view gives a better show of the difference in the way the tank areas are made, with a bit of overhang at the top.

Jeffrey Herlings was ready for a soft track when heading out on Sunday morning, as he had this knobby/paddle hybrid Pirelli tire mounted up.

Other than the visuals, frame covers, and tire choice; we didn't notice any drastic differences in the build of his rookie teammate, Jorge Prado's 250 SX-F. Glen Helen would mark the 15 year-old's third MX2 race, and he'll be taking on the championship full-time next season.

Spy the extra protection for the front caliper? The black guard bolted to the brake hanger, right below the Brembo works caliper.

Speaking of brake protection, these rear caliper guards from Akrapovic were drool-worthy.

The newest batch of seal-heads from WP for their 52mm CV forks are a bit different than before. Other than the red color, they're more tapered in shape and have a replaceable wear-ring.
