Michael Byrne (Team BTOSports.com) was in the top four early on.
You're listening to: Jake Weimer.
It took Ryan Dungey (Red Bull/KTM) seven laps to work his way to the front.
Jake Weimer was among the guys Dungey passed...much to the delight of the partisan Minnesota crowd.
Broc Tickle (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) had worked his way to fourth before a crash in the sand whoop dropped him to 15th. He picked off three riders before the end of the moto.
Jake Weimer moved by Alessi for good at the midway point of the moto.
Justin Brayton (Team Honda Muscle Milk) scored a pair of fourths for the day in the 450 class.
Mike Brown (KTM) and John Dowd seemed to find each other on the track all day long.
Justin Barcia scored holeshots in both 250 motos.
Blake Baggett (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) had work do do in moto one, starting just inside the top ten.
Rockstar Energy Suzuki's Jason Anderson was eighth in the first moto, spent most of moto two minus the header on his engine, and still scored a tenth in that one.
Justin Bogle was back in action after some time off following a knee repair.
Blake Baggett working his way through a man-eating rut...and into the lead of the moto with four laps to go.
Red Bull/KTM's Ken Roczen was fourth in moto one.
Eli Tomac (GEICO Honda) kicked it up a notch when Blake Baggett went by him, in an effort to learn...or get by. He kept the pressure on, but ended up third in the first moto behind Baggett and Barcia.

Michael Byrne, Ryan Dungey, and Justin Brayton lead the way into the first turn to start moto two.

Team BTOSports.com's Jimmy Albertson was in the top three during morning qualifying, and scored a tenth in moto one, but crashes in moto two hurt his overall.
How about Les Smith scoring a seventh overall on his Langston-Witt Racing KTM?
Problems in moto two slowed Tyla Rattray.
Jake Weimer about to do some suspension testing on a square-edged bump.
Broc Tickle came back for a fifth in moto two.
Make that another moto win and overall for Ryan Dungey.
Dungey, Dungey, Dungey...
Ryan Dungey hasn't forgotten where he's from, or what it's like to be on the other side of the fence.
Justin Barcia out front again to start moto two.
Eli Tomac...your 250 overall winner from Millville.
Picture bottoming out like this over and over through the sand whoops. Yep, they took tons of energy to navigate all day long.
Eli Tomac and Blake Baggett traded the lead back and forth, before Blake went down and had trouble getting back to his bike, which was on the wrong end of a blind jump.
Jason Anderson working his tail off to work his way through the sand whoops...minus the header on his bike.
Alex Martin has lived around the Spring Creek track nearly his whole life (his parents own the track), so he's as familiar with it as anyone.
Ken Roczen was third in moto two.
Marvin Musquin (Red Bull/KTM) was one of the few guys that we saw who could find a good rhythm through the sand whoops...mostly due to this big launch he was getting while making the turn into them.
Justin Bogle and Marvin Musquin head back to the pits after a steamy moto two.
GEICO Honda swept the top two spots on the 250 podium, with Blake Baggett third.
