Ryno is the man. I firmly believe he is taking the correct approch to elite level motocross training. For a factory rider with their sights set on a championship, there is no better program available period. he might come off as arrogant but let's face it, he's got the track record to back up the attitude. He's in a very unique position as far as being the only guy with a successful racing career who's also on the cutting edge of nutrition and fitness knowledge. There are thousands of trainers who can teach these movements in the gym but very few (if any) who can then take it to the track. The athletes respect Ryan because they know he backs up his talk. The only negative of the program is the high cost, that's not to say it's overpriced, Ryno charges a very fair price considering the results, but for most people it's way out of their leauge. For a factory rider making hundreds of thousands per year or more it's absolutely worth it.

If any of you privateer guys on a limited budget are looking for a similar program to what Ryno offers, I highly recommend looking into CrossFit. I've been using CrossFit for training for close to two years and from what I've seen of Ryno's training methods, it is very, very similar as far as utilizing kettle bells, med balls, resistance bands etc with lots of body weight/proprioception/gymnastic oriented techniques. The idea is to change it up a little each time you work out in order to continue to see results, all the exercises are practical and designed to make your stronger and more agile without adding unneeded beach muscle. CrossFit also teaches about nutrition including Paleo diet and Zone diet principles with the idea being to put clean, nutrient rich food into your body in the right amounts at the right time for ideal metabolism and performance. The best part is CF will only run you $150/mo for unlimited membership. There is a really nice Crossfit gym in Murrieta down the street from L&M and MDK as well as affiliates all over the country. Check it out if you're interested. www.crossfit.com

Hepler said he'd gone down a pants size (to 30), but had gained muscle.

I like the new angle, but there might be a twinge of arrogance here.
