Max Anstie was one of the few GP riders to have a lot of experience with Glen Helen due to his amateur career here in the US. He put the knowledge to work after starting outside the top 15 and charged all moto to take fourth place on the last lap, finishing behind the American trio on his DRT Kawasaki.
