Here's a close up look at the roller skis. Would you launch these off of a mega-ramp...or any ramp for that matter?!
Believe it or not, this is not the most ridiculous piece of equipment that will be launched off of the ramp once the show gets started.
Blake "Bilko" Williams is part of the large Australian contingent that makes up a good portion of the athletes on the Nitro Circus tour. Here he show's Adams how to take a carpet down the mega ramp.

Jarryd McNeil was out practicing although he will likely only be doing the European tour for the Nitro Circus. Think this jump isn't very impressive...consider that his direction of travel is to the left of where his head is pointing. Impressed now?
If it has wheels, it can be launched off of the mega ramp
The crew was only practicing with the foam pit during this rehearsal, but the landing will not be very forgiving during the real show.

Nitro Circus Live is getting ready to launch their very first North American tour. A practice mega ramp has been set up at Pala Raceway for the last few weeks just for the crazy band of action sports athletes that make up the live show. This week they we able to get in some serious time on the ramp, and we've got to say, this show is going to be nuts! Nate Adams is one of the FMX riders participating and we spoke with him about what it's like to be a part of the Nitro Circus Live.
