Jeff Dement was an interested spectator on Sunday afternoon after taking a dirt nap in practice, and following the doc's advice to skip the race. Given his previous European mud experience, and seventh place at the season opener at Hangtown, he was actually bummed that he didn't get to ride in the mud.
