Ricky Dietrich (539) got tabbed for fill-in duty with the Monster Energy Kawasaki squad after both Ryan Villopoto and Timmy Ferry were sitting out to get better from previous injuries (Ferry), and a season-ending knee injury and surgery (Villopoto). Ricky had some very solid resuts, using a seventh and sixth to come home in fifth overall among the 450s. Chris Blose (Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / Honda) was 13th overall.
