You may have to hunt a bit to find Champion. Garin and his crew are tucked away in a business park that's in a beautiful area of Oregon south of Hood River.
The finished parts on this laser CNC are super-clean, and there's very little wasted material.
These rock-solid toolboxes used by the military are dedicated units...they travel with the equipment they're designed to service, wherever that may be around the world.
Here are some unfinished military boxes ready for assembly.
Previous versions of Champion's Factory Box focused more on the brand, with Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and KTM logos. This time around, they're more focused on the riders.
The new Factory Box features a tough matte finish, and they can be custom ordered with your name and number.
In addition to the traditional moto styles, there are some other varieties available. This is one of our favorites.
This one is dubbed the Vector.
The scenery on the drive out to Champion is pretty awesome. This is also the kind of scenery Garin gets to encounter while trail riding. Yeah, we're jealous.
The pit cart? Yeah, that's a custom Champion design. The Factory Box up top is the same as the ones you can buy. All good heavy-duty stuff.
Yep, Garin's a moto-head through and through. Inside Champion's offices, you'll find things like this cool old Norton, antique gas pumps, and other memorabilia.
