Wade Hunter

Wade Hunter made the switch to Serco Yamaha this year, after the privateer got a call up to rival Yamaha team DPH Yamaha late last year. A moto one incident with teammate Wilson Todd saw him down in the whoops. Hunter remounted to finish the race, but could only salvage a few points. Critics had him penciled in as a title contender, but 16-9 wasn’t what he was after in the opening round.
