A standout ride for the young Australian, Caleb Ward dominated the opening race before going down early in moto two. Ward remounted to battle through the pack for a fifth, and secure the overall win by one point. Last year saw him taste success, but he was unable to finish out the year due to injury. If he can remain injury-free it will be hard to look past Ward for the title.
