An icon in Australian motocross, Brett Metcalfe had never raced a National race on home soil. Metcalfe took to the track aboard his SD3 Husqvarna and showed his experience, making the most of the whole track and finding the smoothest lines in the rutted, beaten up surface. Walking away with a sixth overall for the day, which was a great way to start the series as he prepares to head back overseas in the coming months.
