After taking over the lead, Ricky swapped and slapped down hard on his left side, which resulted in a rare DNF/DNS for the day. It was apparent that RC was "uncomfortable" as he was headed off the track and back to the Suzuki rig. Initial reports show no broken bones, but RC will have an MRI so his doctor can properly evaluate the injury and figure out a course of treatment.
