The ruts exiting the off-camber turn at the bottom of Broome-Tioga's long downhill which were seriously deep and crooked in the first moto, which resulted in lots of body English and paddling. Late in the moto, Ryan Villopoto (51) got by Kelly Smith (37), but he couldn't make it past his Monster Energy / Pro Circuit / Kawasaki teammate, Troy Adams. There goes one conspiracy theory.
