Not dirt-related, but definitely moto and worth a drool; Aprilia's latest Moto GP weapon...

This machine produces the most beautiful sounds right from this custom Akrapovic system.

So much carbon fiber, housing the rear section of the exhaust, and more.

Check out the machined sections of the swingarm, under-mounted radial brake, and data acquisition systems.

From the Formula 1 world comes the carbon brakes, not carbon fiber, but actual carbon. These rotors work great at high temperatures, but can also catch fire if things get too warm! Due to their exposed nature in Moto GP however, they receive enough airflow to keep within operating temperatures.

The bottom of the Ohlins Moto GP spec forks are pure beauty. With most of the adjusting going on down below, with the damping forces being produced inside these tubes on the fork lugs. Also, check out the quick disconnect systems on the brake calipers.

One last look at the Aprilia.
