After Hughes dropped out of the first 30+ Pro moto, Kyle Lewis took over the lead. After Hughes and his crew fixed the problem (clicking the coil wire solidly in place), he jumped back on the track, and re-passed Lewis, though he was only able to work his way back to 11th spot in the final moto standings.
