As they headed into the first turn, that's when chaos ensued. Tim Ferry had the jump on everyone, but Chad Reed, who was hoping to keep his chances at the $250,000 trifecta money alive, needed the holeshot and came into the turn extremely hard. While Chad had successfully moved Ferry aside on Friday night, it didn't work so well this time around, and Chad and Ferry went down in a heap, along with the other top runners, including Grant Langston, Mike Alessi, and Andrew Short.
