Nick Wey was riding much better this week, as he recovers from an arm injury. Nick took a third in his heat race behind Stewart and his Xyience / MDK / Honda teammate, David Vuillemin. Nick was off to a great start in the main event, but a crash by Vuillemin in the rhythm section left DV unconscious, and safety workers very vulnerable, so the initial Supercross main was restarted after three laps. Nick didn't get as good a start the second time around, but charged from 19th to 9th at the finish.
