Ryan Clark was using this Ohlins shock on Saturday...one of only four in existence. It's design is said to help reduce cavitation by having a more circular path for oil flow, rather than one orifice that the oil passes back and forth through. Less cavitation allows them to run much softer springs than they'd used in the past. Current cost on the shocks? About $250K each. Of course that price will come way down when they hit production, which is tentatively scheduled for '08.
