Zero Motorcyces Signs Ralph Shaheen as Brand Spokesperson and Kicks off Cross Country Road Tour Starting in new York City

announced today that motorsports television personality Ralph Sheheen
has been
selected to serve as spokesperson for the brand as Zero Motorcycles
embarks on
its first ever multi-city road tour. In combination with the launch of
its
entire 2010 product line that is currently in full swing, the Zero
Motorcycles
national road tour begins in New York, NY, and will travel across the
country
showcasing all four of Zero’s high performance electric motorcycles
including the Zero S, DS, MX and X. The new 2010 product line includes
more
power, color graphics, the Z-Force™ Air Induction System, new throttle
technology and improved suspension.

Sheheen, a
veteran
broadcaster for SPEED Channel provides play-by-play coverage for AMA
Supercross, AMA Superbike, World Superbike, and MotoGP and many other
series on
the network. Sheheen also divides his time serving as a pit reporter and
play-by-play
announcer for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series coverage on TNT. Sheheen's work
at SPEED
also includes anchoring SPEED Report, the network’s cornerstone racing
news show, and serving as the play-by-play announcer for the World of
Outlaws
Knoxville Nationals. He is also a regular contributor on SPEEDtv.com. Sheheen
also serves as broadcast talent for an array of racing events on CBS
such as
F1, Supercross, American Le Mans and was broadcast talent for previously
produced NASCAR Cup Series events on CBS including the Daytona 500.
Sheheen’s career began in 1988 when he served as broadcast talent for an
IMSA sports car race for ESPN. He has also worked for NBC, FOX, ESPN2,
FSN and
TNN (now Spike TV) calling numerous events such as 12 Hours of Sebring,
the F1
Monaco Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500, and U.S. Nationals. In addition,
Sheheen
has also worked extensively in radio on networks including Motor Racing
Network
(MRN), Performance Racing Network (PRN), and Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Radio
Network.

all-new 2010 product
line from Zero Motorcycles comes equipped with both performance
enhancements
and aesthetic upgrades. The Z-Force™ Air Induction System is a platform
for performance that allows for more horsepower to be produced from the
motor.
Each model is also powered using the latest Z-Force™ power pack
technology and uses a new, more precise, throttle technology. Consumers
also
have color graphics options for personalized styling and customized
seats
specially designed by Corbin.  The entire product line continues to be
built using Zero’s signature exposed aircraft grade alloy frames.







Kicking
off March 15th in New York City, the Road Tour will make its
way out
west where it will conclude in Los Angeles April 1st. The schedule
