Yoshimura Racers Ryan Dungey and Andrew Short To Join Team USA For Motocross of Nations

Chino, Calif. – August 16, 2010 – Yoshimura R&D is
proud to announce that two of its top AMA Pro Motocross contenders,
Ryan Dungey and Andrew Short, have been chosen to be a part of Team USA
for the 2010 Motocross of Nations. These two have been dominating in
the 2010 AMA Pro Motocross Championship aboard their Yoshimura-powered
machines, and now they will have to opportunity to represent their
country when the Motocross of Nations comes to Colorado's Thunder
Valley Motorsports Park.


Ryan Dungey made a huge splash in the motocross world at the 2009 MXoN
when he led the team to victory, and he hasn't let up since. The young
Minnesota native went on to take the 2010 Supercross title, and is well
on his way to claiming the 2010 AMA Pro Motocross title. Ryan will
compete in the premiere class at the 2010 Motocross of Nations, MX1,
and will be acting as Team Captain.


Andrew Short has been one of the only riders in the 2010 motocross
season that has been able to consistently challenge Dungey for the
championship. Short has been riding at the top of his game this season,
and with his Yoshimura-powered CRF450R he'll have plenty of power to
help him dominate in the MX3 class. Thunder Valley is one of Short's
home tracks, so he will have the added support of his hometown crowd to
back him up.


Both Ryan and Andrew have excellent track records this year, are in
excellent condition, and have been competing at the top level of the
sport all summer. With their Yoshimura-equipped machines in top form as
well, the 2010 Team USA has an excellent chance of keeping the cup here
in the USA for 2010.
