Women's Motocross Star, Ashley Fiolek, To Race Abroad

May 7, 2008 (Pebble Beach, CA) – Rising women’s motocross star, Ashley Fiolek, who was recently featured on primetime TV’s ESPN E:60 program, is headed to Europe to compete in the next two rounds of the FIM Women’s World Motocross Championship as further preparation for the upcoming AMA/WMA Motocross Championship season.


Ashley, who writes for both Transworld Motocross Magazine and RacerX Illustrated, will chronicle her journey and race experiences as a young woman and professional motocrosser, while she travels the European continent over the next couple of weeks.

About Ashley Fiolek


Born profoundly deaf, Ashley began riding and racing motorcycles at age seven and worked her way up the amateur Motocross ranks. In 2004, at the age of 13, she won her first national championship at the Air Nautiques AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships at Loretta Lynn’s. Ashley made her professional debut in September 2007 at the Women’s Motocross Association (WMA) Steel City, PA round where she finished an amazing fifth place overall.
