Press Release

Windham, Cairoli, McGrath, Barcia: Who Will Be The New King Of Genoa Supercross?

The
track, realized by the expert Armando Dazzi, is ready for the Genoa
Supercross which will be held on the 13th of November.

A
circuit that should be "tasted" jump by jump and lap by
lap, thanks to the high technical level that has always characterized
this important event organized by Off Road Pro Racing, which will
celebrate the 30th years from the first edition.

A
track studied with different sections, with double racetracks, in
order to keep up the suspence and to lift the spirit of competition.
Both of these things will be lift also by the excellent series of
riders, who are coming to fight for the podium.

The
sudden waiver of Trey Canard, according with his Team American Honda,
forced to cancel his participation because of Epstein Bar chronic
fatigue syndrome (this syndrome, during the past, also damaged other
riders such as Reed, Short, Millsaps and Stewart) has been
successfully passed by the confirmation of the MX1 World Champion
Antonio Cairoli, at his debuting on artificial tracks with his
official KTM SX-F 350, and of the champion Kevin Windham from the
2010 AMA Supercross Championship.

Windham
is coming from the second round of the Australasian championship,
held on 23th of October, when he won with his Honda of GEICO
Powersports Team, while this year he has been the only rider able to
win against Ryan Dungey. Windham is the man to beat the Palafiera of
Genoa. Those riders which will try to put the spanner in front of
Windham’s tyres will be our “National” Tony together with the
number 2 of East Cost Lites Supercross Championship Justin Barcia,
considered the new Bob “Hurricane” Hannah, due to his power and
aggressive way of ride, and the mythic Jeremy McGrath.

He is
still active, working as test-rider of Honda America. The Californian
unforgettable dominator of the American supercross scenes is the most
titled rider of the SX history made in Usa and he is coming back in
Europe from the recent victory of the Open Pro Power Mountain
Motocross National, that has been held during August in Utah.

McGrath
will arrive in Genoa, carrying with him the special parts for his
Honda CRF 450. He will be the reference rider also for Cairoli, who
has considered him as a personal idol since his youth and finally he
has the real possibility to challenge him.

To
keep an eye also onto the Frenchmen Gautier Paulin, the Kawasaki BUD
Racing pilot leader of the European Championship after the first
three races Gregory Aranda, and the Supercross Italian Championship
winner Alex Rouis.
