Willard Derails Jim Neese and the Carolina Express

Neese win Lites Main and South Championship

AURORA, Ill., March 11, 2007 –  Mike Willard battled Jim Neese throughout the Toyota Arenacross Main Event swapping the lead several times.  Willard’s KTM derail the Carolina Express preventing Neese to go undefeated for the weekend.  Cameron Lansing’s Tire Buddy Suzuki finished third.

Jim Neese jumped to an early lead in the Lites main and never looked back.  Brad Modjewski and Jim Chester finished out the podium.  Neese’s win secured the AMA Toyota Areancross Lites South title.

Note:  Riders that were in the top eight in point during the Toyota Areancross National Championship series were not eligible to compete in the Arenacross Lites class.  However, both the Wilkes-Barre, Pa and Greenville, SC events took place after the National Final in Nashville thus allowing the Lites class open to all riders.
