WMA Pro Start List for Round One

Bend, OR (May 8, 2007) – WMA Pro racing starts up this weekend Saturday, May 12th at the opening round of the 2007 AMA/WMA Women’s National Motocross Championship presented by Kawasaki, held at Glen Helen Raceway, San Bernardino, CA along with The Prequel. Honda of Houston/Moto XXX’s Jessica Patterson will defend her championship against a full line up of top women pro racers.

If this year's WMA season opener is anything like last years, Patterson will have her work cut out for her. The 06’ WMA opening round was on of the most exciting races of the season with the top positions in each moto changed several times. Ultimately Katherine Prumm, Sarah Whitmore and Mariana Balbi took the podium. Patterson salvaged valuable championship points from a mediocre finish in moto one with a second place finish in the moto two.
