VonZipper claimed 6 championships on the week crushing last years total
of two. To add to the 6 championships, VonZipper had three runner up’s
and four 3rd place results for a total of 13 podium finishes.
In the A class #33 Gannon Audette won 4 out of his 6 moto’s. Audette
won 450 A ProSport and finished 2nd in 250 A. Also in the 250 A class
VZ had Justin Starling in 6th, Cole Martinez in 7th, A.J. Catanzaro in
9th, and Jake Loberg in 10th. That’s half of the top ten in the A
class!!!
In the B class VonZipper had the podium on lock down. Brad Frace won
250 B stock with VZ teammate Kyle Peters in 2nd. Then in 250 B modified
VonZipper went 2, 3, 4 with Kyle Peters, Jessy Nelson, and Brad Frace
collecting medals all week.
The little ladies of VZ won both championships for the week. Amanda
Maheu won Girls (12-15) and Alexah Person won Women (14+) while Jenn
Burton won moto one but crashed out of moto two ending her chances at a
championship.
The little groms of VZ held it down with 7 top tens. Nick Gaines
almost won his last moto of the week and finished 3rd in Supermini
(12-15) then 4th in Supermini (13-16). The littlest grom on the VZ
team, Gage Linville dominated the 51 (4-6) stock class winning every
moto and the championship.
