Press Release

Voices of Walton

The Walton Grand National Championships is happy to announce that for 2007 the Voices of Walton will be without question the very best to date!

Calling all Amateur and Pro racing will be Ontario announcing legend Dave Bell. Dave has been lending his voice to Walton since its inception and his soundtrack of morning wake up calls is a legendary trademark of the event.

Trackside interviews will be handled by Pro Rider Ryan Gauld, with a few tentative guest appearances by another unmistakable voice: Maritime announcer Larry McCaw. These two voices have a wealth of knowledge, and their laidback demeanors and descriptive cantor produce some epic interviews.

The MC voice of many of the social activities and Amateur Trophy presentations will fall to non other then the lovable Mandy Hodgkinson. Mandy, a Walton faithful, will flex her charm and schmoozing capabilities to ensure the events are enjoyable as well as on schedule!

The entire team from the popular Canadian Motocross Radio (CMR) show and Monster Energy Motocross Television broadcast will host the stage activity during the Pro National on Sunday August 19, 2007.

Canadian Motocross Radio is Canada's first and only web based talk radio show that covers the professional Canadian motocross scene. Marc Travers, Brian Koster, and Ryan Gauld will be awarding and interviewing the best riders on stage during the 2007 Monster Energy Canadian Motocross Championships.

Chris Lee, Walton promoter, commented: "The energy and excitement these people bring to racing is second to none. This is literally an all star line up of announcers. We could not be happier to have them as part of our team."

The 2007 Walton Grand National Championships run August 14-19, 2007.
