Toyota AMA Arenacross Series Welcomes Team MDK Speed Equipment

Tiger Lacey and Billy Jurevich to Race on Bikes Fully Modified by MDK Speed Equipment

AURORA, Ill. (October 31, 2007) – Expanding upon its already successful AMA Supercross program (Nick Wey), Team MDK Speed Equipment (MDK SE) – featuring Oregon’s Tiger Lacey and California’s Billy Jurevich – will take to the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series track for the first time this weekend when the popular indoor series opens at Des Moines’ (Iowa) Wells Fargo Arena on Friday, Nov. 2.

Lacey (#221) will contest a KTM on the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series tour. At 24, Lacey is a veteran with both AMA Supercross and Toyota AMA Arenacross Series experience. The highlight of his career was finishing in the top 10 overall in the AMA Western (10th) and Eastern (7th) Region Lites class points chases in 2003. Lacey’s mechanic for Toyota AMA Arenacross Series will be Alex Hill.

Teaming up with Lacey on the MDK SE-tuned #68 Honda will be Jurevich. At 23, Jurevich also brings some solid professional racing experience to Team MDK SE. The 2000-’01 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series’ Rookie of the Year, Jurevich, has competed more on a regional basis with the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series in recent years, even winning the College Boy class at the 2002 Amateur Arenacross Championships at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. Jurevich’s mechanic for Toyota AMA Arenacross will be Bill Jurevich.

Fees and handling may apply. Show times are Friday and Saturday, 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 12:00. Doors open Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m., Sunday at 11 a.m. Friday and Saturday tickets are $20 for all Gold Circle seats, $16 for Mid Level seats/$8 for kids Mid Level seats. Sunday tickets are $16 for adults, $8 for kids. All seats $2 more day of show. Note: Kids = children ages 2-12.
