Toyota AMA Arenacross Series Reno Results

Danny Smith wins AMA Arenacross class, Ryan Voit wins AMA Arenacross Lites class

AURORA, Ill., (November 17, 2006) – It was win number two for Danny Smith and Tuff Honda. It was an action packed night here in Reno, with a huge track and a huge crowd to back it up. A good start by Team Faith’s Kevin Johnson put him in the early lead. It was short lived as the Big Valley Honda rider Danny Smith took over the lead around lap four. There was a ton of action in the back of the pack as 2nd place in the points, Robbie Reynard, went down in the first turn, giving points leader Danny Smith a little extra breathing room. Good rides went to defending Arenacross Champion Chad Johnson who after almost going down in the first turn, came back to a solid fourth at the checker. Also, hats off to Vincent Blair who not only made the main event but came back to fifth at the end. With an almost sold out crowd for Friday night, tomorrow night looks to be another success.
