Press Release

Tony Cairoli With SIDI in The Lead in World Motocross MX1

Maser
(TV), June 7th, 2010 –
It was a
test of intelligence for Antonio Cairoli (KTM) on Sunday, June
6th, in the French GP, the seventh test in the 2010
World Cross Championship. Cairoli and his rival  Philippaerts went at it in an exciting
head to head on the St.Jean d’Angely circuit. Tony was first in race1 and third
in race2, and Philippaerts was third in race1 and first in race2. The duel ended
in a twin victory for the two pilots, who are now tied in the standings for the
grand prix. These precious points allow Cairoli to command the overall standings
in the World MX1 with a 68 points lead over

Belgium ’s Desalle. Of course with the
world champion Tony Cairoli, and the others Sidi
Sport
aces,  the
Sidi Crossfire boots the best for the off road.

Rounding out the day’s success for Sidi Sport
colours was an excellent third place for Belgian Joel Roelants
(KTM) in the cadets’ MX2 class.
