Thor Riders Take on International Competition in Germany and Belgium

With two international races going on over the weekend, Thor racers were representing at both the Motocross of Nations (MXoN) and the International Six Day Enduro (ISDE). The International Six Day Enduro started their competition one week ago in Saxony, Germany, and the entire USA Trophy Team was backed by Thor MX. After six days of intense and demanding terrain, Team USA earned fourth overall.

With Taylor Robert leading the way in 15th overall, he finished the week with the best overall result and received an individual gold medal. Kurt Caselli scored several great test results, earning a gold medal and finished 14th in his class. In the same E2 class, Destry Abbott also claimed a gold medal, while Charlie Mullins bounced back from a tough Day 4 to finish with an individual silver medal. In the E1 class, Mike Brown earned the test win on the final day, claiming a gold medal and 10th in the class. In the E3 class, Russell Bobbitt finished 14th and grabbed himself a gold medal as well.

Moving from Germany to Lommel, Belgium, the 66th running of the Motocross of Nations was held on a well-known sand track. Thor’s Blake Baggett helped Team USA finish on the podium in third, while claiming the runner-up position in the MX2 class with a 14-6 moto result.

Thor riders Gautier Paulin and Xavier Boog represented Team France in the MX1 and Open classes, respectively. While France finished sixth, Paulin rode to an impressive third in the MX1 class with a 2-8 moto result, while Boog was ninth in the Open class with a 10-16. Representing Team Great Britain, Thor’s Tommy Searle raced in 450cc competition for the first time, taking on the prestigious MX1 class. Searle finished the day sixth with an 8-12 moto results as Great Britain ended up eighth in the nation classifications.
