Press Release

Thor Riders Dominant at Supercross, Arenacross, WORCS, and H&H‏

With racing in full swing, there
was plenty of racing action that took place over the weekend with Thor
racers victorious at the Monster Energy Supercross, World Off Road
Championship Series, and the AMA National Hare and Hound Series.

Grabbing his third win of the
season at the Monster Energy Supercross, Thor rider Ryan Villopoto
continued to extend his points lead in the Supercross class. He now
holds a six point lead over second place. Thor rider Brett Metcalfe
started the main event off right, grabbing the holeshot and finishing
with a season-high finish of fourth place. Broc Tickle ended the night
in 18th, while Jake Weimer was 20th.

In the Supercross Lites class,
Thor’s Dean Wilson earned his second win of the season in dominating
fashion. His win also launched him into the points lead in the class as
the Western Region takes a nine week break before returning to action in
Seattle on April 21.

The second round of the WORCS
series gathered at the California/Nevada state line in Primm, NV.
Saturday’s one-hour race finished with Thor’s Taylor Robert earning his
second race win of the season, while Mike Brown was not far behind in
third. Sunday’s race was full of surprises as Robert took command of the
lead for a large part of the race until he had to come into the pit for
repairs, finishing 16th on the day and sixth overall. Brown was able to
capitalize on Robert’s misfortune, earning first on the day and
grabbing his first overall win of the season, while moving into the
points lead.

Over in Ridgecrest, Calif., the AMA
National Hare and Hound Series came together for their second round of
the season. The race was completely dominated by Thor’s Kurt Caselli,
who won by more than seven minutes over second place. Destry Abbott
joined Caselli on the podium in third after a tough race battling bike
issues.
