Thor Riders Arrive at Motocross of Nations



With Monster Energy Kawasaki and Thor rider, Ryan Villopoto locking up
the 450 National Championship last weekend at Pala Raceway, it’s now
time for motocross fans to turn their attention towards the 2011 Monster
Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.  This weekend, September 17-18, the
best riders in the world will compete in St. Jean d’Angely, France in
hopes of capturing a victory for their respective countries.

This one of a kind team competition typically brings out some of the
most inspired and competitive racing of the year, and is a can’t miss

Multiple Thor riders will be on hand in St. Jean d’Angely this
weekend.  The 450 National and 250 National Champions, Ryan Villopoto
and Dean Wilson, will represent the United States and Great Britain,
respectively.  Also representing Thor will be Blake Baggett (USA), Brett
Metcalfe (Australia), and Tyla Rattray (South Africa).

The 2011 Supercross and 450 National Champions Gear

 

Multiple international riders will also be representing Thor this
weekend.  After Steven Frossard was forced to withdraw with an injury,
Christophe Pourcel was named as his replacement and will partner with
fellow Thor rider Gautier Paulin on the French Team.  Rounding out the
Thor team will be CLS Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider, Tommy
Searle, who will team up with Dean Wilson on the Great Britain team.
