The final countdown: Ponte a Egola is ready!


It has started the
final countdown at “Santa Barbara”
Crossdome: the paddock has been prepared in order to give space for those
Teams participating the world championship and coming from all over Europe, for this official debut of the Italian
Motocross. More than 200 people in the staff, who will allow the
organisation to work on during the two days, which will see the best riders
in the world to race. A massive effort has been made by Motoclub
Pellicorse, in collaboration with OffRoadProRacing, under the control of
the Italian Motorcyclist Federation, who will allow all the fans to enjoy
the show and those emotions, that only this kind of races can create. There
will be a huge security service, that one realised thanks to the
coordination on San Miniato (PI) municipality, which worked hard in order
to guarantee parking areas and viability, at the level of this world
appointment.


Then, all the great
names have been confirmed to race this Round#1 of Internazionali
d’Italia 2011. For this reason the completely milled track will allow
riders to find the best ground possible in order to express themselves on a
circuit characterised by such technical elements, different one from
another one, making obstacles series complete as well as are the different
situations to face inside the track. Great drags and drops, which
continuously present different kind of heights from one section to the next
one, both going up and down, without forgetting the low part characterised
by waves jumps introduced some years ago. Important technical elements
which makes “santa Barbara”
a pivotal moments for the participants’ ambitions.


Finally we can only
renew the appointment for Sunday morning 27th February 2011, for the practice,
and teh afternoon for the Finals. The MX1 and MX2 champions will be ready
to enter the track, and, with the same competitiveness, it will be the
official debut also for the Under 17 riders (125cc.), ready to try
everything they can, in order to show their skill in front of such an
important parterre.
