David Bailey honored with Edison Dye Lifetime Achievement Award!‏




The Legends & Heroes of Motocross to display at the
27th Annual MTA World Veteran MX Championships
@ Glen Helen Raceway 

Norco, Calif. ~ October 3, 2011:  The
Legends & Heroes Tour will make a stop at this year’s MTA World
Veteran MX Championships at Glen Helen Raceway. The display of concourse
vintage machines and the time line of motocross history will be on
display this Sunday.

The MTA World Vet Championship in the past
has drawn vet class heroes like Doug Dubach, Ryan Hughes, Gordon Ward
and Ron Lechien who have done battle on Glen Helen's world class USGP
track. The organizers bring the tour to this event to celebrate the rich
motocros past with these champions and the fans.

"As
we celebrate the 27th year of the MTA World Veteran MX Championships,
I'm especially excited about the 12:30 noon on Sunday for the Edison Dye
Lifetime Achievement Presentation to David Bailey” says Tom White of
the Early Years of MotocrossMuseum.
 "Please come out and join us while we honor David Bailey for his
championships on the motorcycle, in the Iron-Man Triathlon, and as a
human being.  There will be 100 posters that will be signed by David and
his fellow AMA Hall of Famer’s at the end of the presentation at a
special display honoring David" concludes Mr. White.

The MTA
World Vet Championships draws racers and fans to an exhilarating weekend
full of competition and excitement on the famous USGP track in the
heart of Southern California. The 2-day event will take place on the
weekend of November 5-6, 2011. Throughout the course of the weekend,
numerous fun fan activities will take place.

Mike Owens, managing
partner of the Legends & Heroes Tour states "We are proud to be a
part of the MTA World Veteran MX Championships. The Mobile Motocross
Museum will be on display this Sunday.  Please come by to view the
Vintage MX motorcycles and memorabilia. The Legends & Heroes Tour is

About the Tour
The
Legends & Heroes Motocross Tour is a professional historical
display and time-line of Americas greatest motorsport.  The tour
includes the machines and the champs of Motocross. The project was
conceived by a dedicated group of Motocross Enthusiasts who, over the
years, have discovered the value of the rich 40+ years of Motocross
legacy and its impact on the American motorsports history. “The
dedication and passion of the sport has brought the Legends & Heroes
Motocross Tour to the next level of sharing this legacy, the history of
the machines and men, as well as the women of Motocross. The history of
the Classic Iron and its' champions is a dynamic model ever changing.
We see this rich history as a great learning lab for all ages” according
