Press Release

The James Marshall Project Silent Auction

The James Marshall Project will be holding a Silent Auction on Saturday October 29, 2011 for Shawn Fincher. The silent auction will take place at Three Palms Extreme Sports Park in Conroe, TX. This will be held during theAMA State Final District Championship.

Shawn
is a 19 year old rider from Houston, TX that suffered brain swelling,
dislocated hip and broken femur as the result of the crash on May 19 of
this year.  After the accident test revealed that he had
bleeding on his brain so they removed the left side of his skull to
relieve the pressure and after two weeks that was successful in getting
him stable.

Shawn
is currently working on getting better while suffering vision loss of
80% in both eyes but he still continues to fight back on his road back
recovery. Shawn’s family has  incurred over 1 million dollars in medical bills so we at the James Marshall Project are working with the “Stay Strong Shawn” team to help not only raise some funds but also the awareness of head trauma at the benefit.
