Team Fiber Wise Pasta/ Sano Systems/ PPG/ Motion CycleSports/ XO Energy Drink Set To Race

After a successful year in 2006, Team Sano/PPG has matured in several ways for 2007. The team has added a new title sponsor and has also added a third rider.

The new name, Team Fiber Wise Pasta/ Sano Systems/ PPG is set to contest the entire BooKoo Arenacross Series with team riders Tommy Hofmaster, Colt Humphrey and newcomer Ryan Beat.

New to the team for 2007 is Fiber Wise Pasta. Fiber Wise, a product of Foulds, Inc., a 100 year-old pasta company from Libertyville, Illinois, will now be the teams new title sponsor and will be handing out samples of pasta at each round of the series. This is a huge step for both the sport of motocross and for Fiber Wise as they have been slightly invlolved in the amateur motocross scene for a little over a year. This also marks one of the first food manufacturers to ever be involved in the Professional side of our sport.

We saw what these guys did in 2006 and believe in the team that we have chosen to partner with. We believe exposure in endurance sports will help highlight the importance of diet to athletes, as well as to kids in risk groups for obesity and diabetes. Besides being incredible athletes and competitors Tommy, Colt and Ryan realize the growing concern for proper nutrition in America today. This is a great match for both of us.”

Returning team riders Hofmaster (third in BooKoo Arenacross) and Humphrey (eighth in BooKoo Arenacross) will have a new teammate in that of California’s Ryan Beat. The 20 year-old from El Cajon, California, will be racing Arenacross for the first time and he is coming off of some solid finishes nationally in the “A” class. He will surely be one to watch this year.

Team Fiber Wise/ Sano/ PPG will also contest all of the remaining rounds of the AMA/ Amp’d Mobile Supercross Series and will be adding another rider to the roster at a later date as talks are currently underway with several different riders.
