Team Bad Boy To Compete at 2007 Motocross of Nations

Bad Boy Power Drink is teaming up with the Latvian Motorcyclists Federation to compete in the 61st Motocross of Nations, to be held on September 22 and 23, 2007, at Budds Creek Motocross Park in Southern Maryland. This will mark just the second time in its illustrious history that the Motocross of Nations, the world’s longest-running motocross championship, will be held in the United States. Billed as the 'hottest ticket in motocross', the Motocross of Nations typically attracts teams from about 30 nations and six continents.

Team Bad Boy leader Rick Ware said, "After running the full AMA Supercross and Motocross series in 2007, the Motocross of Nations is a great way to wrap up the season. Team Bad Boy, sponsored by Bad Boy Power Drink, is excited to have teamed up with the Latvian Motorcyclists Federation for what many consider the most prestigious motocross event in the world. "

Riding for Latvia and Team Bad Boy will be # 73 Livs Davis on a Yamaha 450 in the MX1 division, #74 Ivo Stenbergs on a Honda 250 in the MX2 division, and # 75 Lauris Freibergs on a Yamaha 450 in the MX 3 division.

The Motocross of Nations is the premier motocross event sanctioned by the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and features an annual competition among National teams fielded by many of the FIM’s affiliated federations. Established in post-war Europe in 1947, the famed event has run uninterrupted since that time. This year’s event at Budds Creek Motocross Park is expected to draw a crowd of over 80,000 motocross fans from all over North America and the world. The television broadcast is expected to reach over 20 million viewers worldwide.

"Team Bad Boy will be at the Motocross of Nations in full force," according to team owners Rick Metcalf, and Bill and Kay Coleman. "We plan on pulling out all the stops to be competitive and to have a major presence at the event. We'll hand out product samples, t-shirts, hats and temp tattoos. Our team and our hauler will showcase our product and our company at this major worldwide event."

In the near future, Team Bad Boy will be announcing the details of their plan to compete in the 2008 AMA Supercross, Arenacross and WMA series.
