Press Release

Team BTOsports.com Matt Goerke on the gas to a 9th place finish at Daytona.

Daytona, FL - The BTOSports.com team headed in to Daytona for Rd. 10 of the Monster Energy
/AMA Supercross Series.  The weather would play a big factor in the race,
as rain throughout the day and night would turn the technical Daytona track in
to a field of mud, making the track a different kind of technical.  With only one timed qualifying session, team
riders Jimmy Albertson, Jason Thomas and Matt Goerke were on the gas and ready
to tackle the tough Daytona track.

In the heat race, Matt Goerke would take advantage of a
good start and stay up in the mud to finish 4th, securing a spot in
the main event.  “Top” Jimmy Albertson
and Jason Thomas would have a rough time in the mud, having to go to the
LCQ.  In the LCQ, bad starts would hinder
both JT$ and Albertson as they would not transfer to the main event.

In the main as the rain came down, Goerke would put on his
race face to do battle on the muddy Daytona track.  On the gas, he would battle up into the top
five until a late race bobble would eventually lead to a 9th place
finish. This marks a steady progression for Goerke and the best finish thus far
this season.

“I felt good out there in the mud.” said Goerke. “It was
a tough track tonight. I just put my head down and rode as hard as I could through the slop.  Thanks goes out to my team for giving me a
great bike.  We have been putting in the
work during the week and it is starting to show.”
