Team BTOsports.com Matt Goerke finishes 15th place at Houston.

Houston, TX - The BTOSports.com team headed back down to the state of Texas, as the
Reliant Dome in Houston hosted Rd. 13 of the Monster Energy /AMA Supercross
Series.  The technical track would showcase great racing and BTOsports.com
team riders Jimmy Albertson, Jason Thomas and Matt Goerke qualified well and
were  ready to tackle the Houston track.

Matt Goerke looked strong in his heat race.  He would finish in 5^th place after
eventually running down and passing Brett Metcalf and Davi Millsaps, earning a
spot in the main event. In the main, Goerke would rocket out of the gate with a
good start and round the first lap in 10^th spot.  He would go back and forth with James Stewart
before a huge crash from Stewart.  The
crash would collect Goerke, as the cartwheeling bike of Stewart would bounce in
to the side of Goerke’s bike.  After
remounting in 14^th, Goerke would battle Kyle Chisolm and Josh Grant before
losing the front end due to a broken front brake line from Stewart’s wreck.  After that, he could only go on to muster a
15^th at the finish.  Goerke’s
raw speed and effort continues to impress the team bosses.

Jimmy Albertson was riding strong enough to be in the main
event here in Houston.  His practice
times were in the top 16.  During his
heat, he looked great, but a bad start just never let him find his grove.  In the LCQ, he was flying, coming from 8^th
to 4^th to finish right behind Mike Alessi.  If he can race the heats like he races the
LCQ’s, “Top” Jimmy is in the main event every weekend to close out the year.

Jason Thomas struggled all night with bad starts and unlucky
crashes. No doubt JT$ will regroup and come back strong after the break to
finish out the season strong.
