Team BTO Sports-KTM-WPS Indianapolis SX Race Report

Camarillo, CA (Apr.11, 2016) – Team BTO Sport-KTM-WPS traveled to the mid-western city of Indianapolis, IN this past weekend for round thirteen of the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross series.. Team rider Justin Brayton held on for a top ten finish this weekend on the tough track.

Justin Brayton looked smooth on the Indianapolis track, posting the 8th fastest time of the day in qualifying. He would come into the heat race with confidence, as he used the superior traction of his Pirelli MX tires to launch out front and lead the field into the first turn. He would charge all race, finding the fast line on the soft and rutted track to finish 3rd and transfer to the main event. Brayton would once again get a great jump out of the gate in the main event, as he rounded the first turn inside the top five. He slid back a few spots mid-race due to a few mistakes on the deeply rutted track. Justin would ride with aggression, and battle his way back up to an 8th place finish at the checkered flag. After thirteen rounds, he continues to hold down 8th place in championship points.

“It was a tough night” Brayton said. “The track was brutal tonight and I’m glad to leave here uninjured. My speed is there and I am looking forward to St. Louis.”

Team rider Davi Millsaps continues to recovers from his injury at Daytona and Andrew Short continues to do well and heal up at home for his return.
