Press Release

TEILLET AND SUZUKI 2ND ON LOKET MX2 GATE

Suzuki
Europe MX2 were thrilled to see Valentin Teillet make an excellent
start and maintain a strong second position until the end of the
Qualification Heat at Loket for the Casino Bonver Grand Prix of Czech
Republic as the Frenchman notched his best ever GP Saturday performance
courtesy of his runner-up result.

The Czech terrain was a
difficult surface to judge after brief but intense showers coated the
hilly venue during the afternoon. The Qualification Heats for MX1 and
MX2 were run in the dry but the mud was slippery and traction was at a
premium. The layout was not easy for overtaking so Teillet's start among
the top-three was an essential component of his classification.

The
former European Champion - who turns 21 years of age this weekend - is a
big fan of the fast and winding course and was able to churn out the
laps to the chequered flag and earn second pick of gates for the two 35
minute and 2 lap motos tomorrow.

Valentin Teillet:

"I'm
very happy. It was important that I did well today because last week in
Lommel was terrible, so I'm pleased to be able to make this result. The
team worked really hard and it was very satisfying to be up there like
that; even if the race was not so easy. Despite the rain, this is the
kind of track where you can always find a bit of grip, but it was
difficult. I'm keeping my feet on the ground because we didn't win any
points today. It would be great to make a good result tomorrow."
